85th Birthday card

This card is for a friend's 85th birthday next month. I'm also using this for a couple of the Dare to Get Dirty challenges on Split Coast today.  This is a bookatrix from The Glitter Girls in the UK. They are plastic boards with lots of shapes that you emboss and cut out.  Lots of holographic peel off borders, little prima flowers and butterfly, ribbon and embossed border is from Martha Stewart.

Stamping in Time with Our daily Bread

Our challenge today at Our Daily Bread Design was to use Piercing or Faux Piercing, since I don't do that I used the Faux piercing. My MS punch on the corners and I covered it with tiny dots from some peel off borders and used them on the top corner as well.  The beautiful Fushia image and frame are from ODBD and the pretty saying is from Flourishes.  Butterfly is a MS punch and some pearls finish this off.

Cuttlebug and new folders

I saw this card on the cuttlebug challenge, they used it for a Christmas card, well it's way too hot for that here so I made it into the Birthday card.  I used the newest embossing plus folders and some Bazzill bling paper, some DP and some peel off's and the flowers on the inside are iron ons from Walmart and I just used glue dots to adhere them.

Flourishes timeless tuesday July 20

Flourishes blog has a Timeless Tuesday challenge going on today.  Here is my take on the flowers. I used a Tri Shutter card, flower and saying from Flourishes.  DP is from Memories. Check out the DT's cards over there and join in the fun!!!

MMSC63 on Priscilla's midnight madness

This pretty card is for Priscilla's midnight madness blog challenge. I kept this very simple so the DP from Memories is the focal point.  Butterfly is a peel off from Michaels and the tiny roses are from prima. The image is a holographic one I got at a convention.  Hop over to Priscilla's blog and see all the gorgeous cards.

Our daily bread challenge 21

I'm using this for two challenges today. Our daily bread challenge was to color an image, I used copics and cropped it to fit into this frame by cuttlebug.  Martha Stewart punch for the butterfly.  The challenge on Dare to get dirty was to ok to use a punch or die but no DP or ribbon.  Wow that was the hard, LOL  Did you know that if you pay about $25 per year to split coast you get to see a lot more cards and inspiration!!!! It's worth it!!

Our daily bread design Christmas in July

I always laugh when I think of Christmas in July. I spent about a year on the island of Guam when my DH was in the Navy. Now I'm not Catholic but was married to one the first time and they have this thing about purgatory.  I tell everyone, I've got that covered with that year in Guam, horrible heat and humidity and 3 typhoons and 3 earthquakes. LOL  This card is for the challenge on Our daily bread designs blog to do a Christmas card. I used the Stamp TV idea of embossing in clear and using disressed inks to color.

A weekend of stamping

My main TV remotes are on the fritz so I had to watch TV from my dinning room table which is also my stamping area. I made good use of the time here this weekend and made several cards. The first three are using Flourish stamps and the last one is from Crafty secrets. I used copics to color and lots of bling.

Midnight madness challenge 61

Another Crafty secrets Red, white and blue with a twist

I used another Webster paper that I thought was perfect for this Crafty Secrets image. I added some spica pens to the cherries and leaves for glitter.
