Our daily bread challenge and Midnight madness

Our challenge today at ODBD was to make a Mother's day card. The sketch layout was by Midnight madness Priscilla's blog. I used the roses from ODBD design's new set, colored with copics, added some glitz by using my new Martha Stewart around the card butterfly punch and her little butterflies to accent. Some bling was added and pretty paper.

Guest designer today for Flourishes

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC64)! It is the end of the month and I"m the guest designer and hostess today. I'm very excited and honored to do this for Flourishes as I love their stamps!! My challenge is vintage styled cards! Everyone sort of has in their own minds what vintage means to them, so without giving you any direction, just create a card that defines a vintage style to you! We would love to see what you create! Also, just wanted to remind everyone that while each FTTC challenge has a weekly winner, we also draw a monthly winner from all of the FTTC for that month. So, if there was a challenge in April you still would like to participate in, there is still a chance to win! You can play as often as you like! Check out FTTC61, FTTC62, and FTTC63! The weekly and monthly winners will be announced next week!

Happy Birthday and Calendar girl

I made this birthday card for a friend's birthday yesterday, Our daily bread design stamp and Graphic 45 papers. The pink card is for crafty secrets calendar girl challenge and instead of the calendar I thought of the song I love, I love, I love my calendar girl so I used one of their images on this card. MS around the card punch, the pretty background is a wallpaper sample from Menards, they now have about 5" sq samples that are gorgeous and perfect for the cards. Some flowers and MS butterfly punch finished it off.

This months challenge on SCS was to do something vintage, I love vintage but it's hard for me to get this right. This is an image and paper from Graphic 45 with lots of embellishments on it. I love being a Fan Club member and following the dirty dozen gals on SCS, they are amazing and for a mere 25 per year you get to see all their work and participate in the fun.
