Flourishes Timeless Tuesday 43

Flourishes timeless tuesday this week was to make a Christmas card or a Thank you card. I chose the new Santa image, used sparkly fluff on his eyebrows and mustache, glitter glue and copics to color. I used the new M.S. fan punch on the corners and a spellbinders label for the saying.

Some new stamps and toys

This first card is a new stamp from Heartfelt creations, embossed in gold on cream and colored with copis. I sprayed some pearl glimmer mist over it and sprayed too close so I added some snowflakes to cover the drops. The deer card is a transparenciy from The Markit Place. I used holographic paper behind it and a frame that I purchased. Have a great week and thanks for stopping by.

Midnight challenge 29 and Crafty secrets Christmas

I made this card for two challenges today. Midnight Madness and Crafty Secrets. I used the crafty secrets images on a grid paper of glitter and mirror card. The die cut is a Quickutz nesting label, some ribbon and sparkly fluff from Archivers.

Gina K's blog hop

Wow, check out Gina K's blog, she is having a blog hop and you can join in the fun. I used her new poinsettia oval for this card, I distressed the paper with vintage photo ink and colored with copics. Some DP and gems to finish it.

Convention cards

I attended the convention in Madison WI this weekend. It was great, we did the make and take on Friday night and got to shop before the crowds on Sat. The first card is from the Markit place, acetate scene, The second red and whtite card is from the Paper cut. I think the 3-D punch out basket card is from Stampers Anonymous and the last one with the flower soft is from Our Daily Bread Design.

Joy fold cards

I'm still making Joy fold cards, I took a new picture of these and this time it's not so blurry. I used Flourishes doves and holly small stamp and Crafty secrets stickers on these cards. I'm not happy with the large bows, they tend to push the card fronts up and they won't stay tucked in so will try something different next time. Thanks for stopping by.

Split coast challenge 254 and split negative technique

I watched Gina K's video today on a split negative. Decided to use it with the SC254 challenge today. I love this tree from Flourishes and have used it a lot this year. I used a soft gold shimmer paper, actually the background paper almost matches it even though it looks very yellow on the scan. Black paper and detailed gold and black embossing powders. Finished it with little pearls and gold gems. Thanks so much for looking.

Flourish Favorite things challenge

Flourishes is having a "favorite things" challenge and blog candy on their newsletter. I chose to do this scene since one of my favorite things when I was little was sleigh rides on our farm. All stamps from Flourishes, copics to color and flower soft for snow and some cute little stickers to decorate the sleigh. I didn't have any sleigh bells so you will have to use your imagination that the deer has bells on him, LOL Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping.
