Midnight challenge #8

This card was made for the midnight madness challenge #8. I used a stamp from Flourishes and nestabilities for this. Copics to color the flower. Thanks for stopping by.

Stampscapes and a baby carriage

This scene was done with a brayer and then I touched up the grass and trees with some Marvy inks. Stamps are Stampscapes and Suter

The baby carriage is done using nestabilities circles and cutting them in half, Martha Stewart border punch and butterfly punch and the background is cuttlebug and some designer paper. Littel buttons and gems added on. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy the cards.

Faux mulberry paper

After seeing a card on Faith's blog here I decided to try this idea, you use acrylic paints and "cheap" toilet paper, you just choose 3 to 4 coordinating colors and wear rubber gloves, just wad up toilet paper and dip it into a color and smoosh it on the paper, kind of like alcohol ink backgrounds but the paper will stick to the paints and you get a 3-D effect. I really didn't like the paper when got done, they were too bright for me, but they make very cute backgrounds when they are mounted and a small part of them show. We had a fun time doing this and make sure you cover your work area with a garbage bag or something so you don't get paint all over everything. Thanks Faith it was fun!!! The stamp is from Sarah Kay

Cut card stock and cryogen papers

I have been asked about the cryogen paper I use for my stamping. This is the BEST paper I think for using copics or anything to color with. It has a gorgeous shimmer to it even after it's colored. You can find this at Cut Card stock and they have both cardstock and text weight. I use the text weight sometimes when I'm printing off a scene that I made and I want to change the size to make a card, some of my original scens are too large to use as a card. It goes through most printers and you can still color on it as well. I use the cardstock for the originals. They also sell many other kinds of papers and envelopes, I got my square envelopes from them and the service is awesome, usually one to two days and I have my order.

Wedding cake #2

I decided to try this card again today with just using papers and some trim. I think it's ok and kind of cute.
Thanks for stopping by!!

Wedding cake

Yesterday Lesie had this very cute card on her blog here and I loved it so thought I would try to create something similar. I used a Flourish stamp and colored with Copic markers and a Martha Stewart punch and the Stampin up top note die. I think I want to make some more of these cards with different stamps as well. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.

One more from Monday night stamping

One more card from the basic grey paper and matching stamps. I used labels 4 and the stampin up top note die for the images and then the stampin up corner punch and trimmed them in gold peel offs. Added some ribbon and peel offs around the card and that's it. very simple and easy.

Sweet Nellie and the farm

This is another scene I did while visiting a friend, Sweet Nellie stamps are from the UK but I wish they would sell them over here. They are so cute!! This card has sutter and stampscapes mixed in as well.

Stamping with a friend this week

I went to visit a friend and do some scenic stamping for some challenges on our Sutter and Stampscapes yahoo groups. We were to make a sunset card for Sutter and a summertime card for Stampscapes. I used cryogen white paper, black memento ink and copics on all of these cards. The stamps are from Sutter, Stampscapes, Beeswax, Sparkle and Sprinkle and probably a few more in there also. Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
